Want to Meet in Person?

simple families meet up

We have big changes coming in our family this summer. In June, will be relocating from Dallas, Texas to outside of New York City. I am very proud of my husband as he is taking a new job working in sustainability. We are excited for the change in scenery–but will deeply miss our favorite parts of Texas (i.e. In-N-Out Burger, tamales, warm winters). Most of all, we will miss our friends who have helped to make this place home for the last 5 years.

We will be rehoming our chickens, Blanche and Waffles. Our kids will be saying goodbye to the only home they have ever known. I am getting nostalgic which makes me want to “Irish Goodbye” and slip out unannounced. But instead, I decided to take this as an opportunity to start something new.

I want to put faces to names and meet you all.

On Sunday, May 21 I will be hosting the first Simple Families meet-up [RSVP]. This first meet-up will be in Dallas. If you are in the area, join me for coffee and conversation at a local coffee shop to meet some of the like-minded people you have been chatting with in the Simple Families Community.

Once I get settled into our new home, I will plan a similar meet-up in NYC. After that I hope to plan future meet-ups in other cities.

So tell me, where are you? Leave a comment and let me know where you would like to see a meet up in the future.

I hope to meet you soon!
