four simple things #04

What we are eating: Tamales

I am tamale-obsessed. We always have frozen tamales on hand in the freezer for a fast, easy lunch. I love that they have a little vegetable, a little protein, and a little carb all rolled into one. With their soft texture, they are a perfect food for young babies.

What we are playing: Puff balls

Oh puff balls, the many ways you entertain us. We have a variety of tweezers and tongs that we use to practice transferring puff balls to various containers. We also use the variety packs to sort by color and by size. We practice making patterns and sequences. We also use them as an art tool in lieu of paint brushes. The toddler’s favorite is to throw them all over the kitchen and practice sweeping them up with his broom.

What I am wearing: Satva yoga pants

I have been a Lululemon loyalist for years. Unfortunately during my second pregnancy the material made my skin crawl. I have been switching it up to the organic cotton material that Satva offers and my skin has been breathing easier.

What I am pondering: Toddler behavior

Folks, toddler behavior is whack. I am working on a free mini-course with tried and true strategies. There is a method to the madness and I want to share it with you.

Please respond to this email, I read them all! If you are enjoying these weekly updates, send a friend to sign up.
