four simple things #03

What we are eating: Saccharomyces bouldardii

I love to travel to Latin America. But my stomach does not. These magic pills are a type of yeast that you can find in the probiotic section and do wonders to prevent any stomach issues in both adults and children. They may have saved our trip.

What we are playing: Metal and wood.

The baby has been thoroughly enjoying metal spoons and wooden rings for teething. I prefer both these materials over plastic and so does she.

What I am wearing: Everlane Anorak

I realized that I don’t actually know how to pronounce the word “anorak”. But that doesn’t stop me from feeling cooler than I actually am in this trendy lightweight rain jacket. Now that I have a small wardrobe, I have been trying to seek out more socially conscious companies from which to bu. Everlane fits this bill.

What I am pondering: Reentry

Settling back into life at home after vacation feels daunting. Preschool starts on Monday. The final stages of my dissertation loom over me. But launching Simple Families this fall has me excited. Let me know what you want to hear about.

Happy Sunday!
